Recorded message (Professional voice-over with British accent) saying new Government Scheme provides Solar Panels with no-upfront costs and Government pays you over 20 years for energy generated. Had two calls from this number in June 2014, both silent. Reported to ICO and Offcom, to no effect.
my wife recently did free competition but was charged £4.50 from her pay as you go phone , this is a scam that must be stopped asap as there are vunerable people out there ,my wife is 71 and had she been younger would not have made this mistake , i have contacted 03332027721 and they have stopped any further text ,will now try for refund, wish i could meet these people face to face but i guess they will be somewhere hot and not available.
when i answer no one talks and then they drop it, this is from a collection company and they charge us each time they call and we answer yet no conversation is had. This should be illegal.
I have just been conned by replying to a tesco competition on FB? Help?
Have had several calls from this number, also many other unwanted calls every day, starting from early morning to late night time. I have not returned these calls, and neither do I intend to
Asian lady called Angela rang and spoke from a script about refunding bank charges. Asked for a Mr Doshi at a different address to mine - either he had my number many years ago or he filled in a form with a wrong number as we get many scam calls for him. When she asked whether she had the correct address I said no, she got confused and rang off. It used to be that these companies withheld their numbers so could be blocked by too many people. Now their systems give a fake number, which looks like a real number.
Have just been charge £4.50 for this number. I am on Orange/ee. How do I stop it from happening again?
