When I rang the number back it said you were rung today by HYC and then said an advisor will be with you shortly they put the phone down as soon as I asked how they got my phone number so I rung back and my number had been blocked.
Nuisance call! do not answer
I have just had a call from the same number, probably same Asian man too, saying I had been involved in an accident. When I asked him when this was and pushed the point, he swore at me something like "bloody windup" and disconnected the call. He stated he was from Accident Advice helpline. I called them and was informed that he/they are cold calling and trying to get details. I was informed to report it to "actionfraud.police.co.uk".
who do you approach to stop these calls?
Injury Claim law are scammers. No proper, trustworthy law firm would hang up - they would explain themselves properly and apologise for getting the wrong number. ALWAYS go to a bonafide law firm on recommendation - a lot of them do free consultations!
I am disabled and these calls get me trying to get to my phone only to find they have rung off after 2 or 3 rings. I am truly sick of all these kind of calls which I keep on getting. I wish I could afford to ring them back and do to them what they keep on doing to us!!!!
